Google Launches AI Platform For Developers and Data Scientists
Google’s focus on artificial intelligence and machine learning is incredible. Since the introduction of these two concepts, the search giant has been trying to integrate artificial intelligence more and more into its product to improve usability and user experience.
On the second day of its annual Cloud Next conference, Google made several interesting announcements about AI. They introduced a new set of artificial intelligence tools and services designed to promote the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning through easy-to-use predefined templates, while introducing the necessary tools for developers Your own custom templates.
Google Launches an End-to-End AI Platform
Google has released the beta version of the company’s new AI platform. Previously, AI enthusiasts had to rely on several third-party tools and services to supplement their products. But with the new platform, Google offers developers and data specialists a complete platform to build, test, and deploy their own models.
The platform was created using a variety of new and existing products that will allow you to create a complete data flow to extract and tag data with the new integrated tagging service. You can then use the existing classification, object recognition, feature extraction models, or use tools such as the cloud machine learning machine or AutoML to train and implement your custom templates.
As per the statement from Google’s spokesperson,
“AI Platform is where, if you take this scary journey from the idea of using artificial intelligence in your business, to launch and a safe and reliable implementation, AI Platform will help you get around. Between each of these steps, you can start with exploratory data analysis, create models using your data experts, decide to use that specific model, and then, with one click, implement it. “
The company also announced several improvements to the Cloud AutoML tool. If you do not know, this is an official tool used to automate model training for developers with limited Machine Learning experience.

Google introduced AutoML tables that extract existing tabular data from Google’s BigQuery database or storage service and automatically develop a template to predict the value of the given column. In addition, AutoML Video Intelligence is a new feature that currently allows you to annotate and tag video automatically using object recognition technology, to categorize the video content and make it searchable. Finally, the company has also launched a beta version of AutoML Vision, which can detect objects on photos.
Solutions For Data Analysis
On other announcements, the company also launched beta versions of its custom entity extraction and custom sentiment analysis services. This will help companies extract specific information from large, unstructured data.
Document Understanding API
After reaching the documents, Google announced beta versions of its Document Understanding API. This service will be used to convert a scanned page into machine-readable text. Users will then be able to retrieve data using other Google machine learning services.
Google Contact Center AI
In addition, the search giant has released a beta version of its Artificial Intelligence Contact Center to offer comprehensive solutions such as Dialogflow and Google’s speech-to-speech capabilities that allow users to create a virtual agent system. This service is already used by popular names such as Twilio, Vonage, Cisco, Five9, Genesys and more.
Google Cloud Retail
Google knows that many companies are striving to combine all of these tools and services into a single platform based on their needs. That’s why they also launched Google Cloud Retail, an artificial intelligence solution created with Search of Vision products, AI recommendations and AutoML tables. Google also plans to offer more such solutions in the future.
